The State Russian Museum private tour №11358

The State Russian Museum has the world famous collection of Russian fine art and is undeed one of the must-see experiences in St. Petersburg. Built as a residence of the royal family, the Mikhailovsky Palace became the museum in 1895. Its original collection was compiled with some artworks taken from the State Hermitage Museum, the Imperial Academy of Arts and Alexander Palace. You will find here the artworks of the greatest Russian painters like Karl Brullov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, Victor Vasnetsov, Vasily Surikov, Boris Kustodiev, Valentin Serov and many others. The most contradictory artwork of Kazimir Malevich "Black Square" can be seen here as well.
